How it all Began

There is no better way to start the new year than opening your own gaming cafe, don’t you agree? Kim and Brian, who originally wanted to open a Jersey Mike’s Subs, opened CeCe’s Lucky Slots in January, 2019. CeCe’s Lucky Slots is located on Main St. in Roscoe, IL. You’re probably asking, “How did they go from a Jersey Mike’s Subs to a gaming cafe? It certainly wasn’t easy.

As Kim and Brian were purchasing equipment for their location, they were cleaning out a few convection ovens and noticed a four-leaf clover charm tucked down into one of the vents. They took this as a sign that their space was meant for something very different. With this, they ran with the Irish theme naming it CeCe’s Lucky Slots. The name doesn’t stop there however. They named CeCe’s after their dogs Cooper and Charlie. Unfortunately, since they aren’t allowed to play slots, they hang out at home and take care of the house while mom and dad are at work. Put it all together, the four-leaf clover, the color green, wins, the luck of the Irish and their two dogs you get CeCe’s Lucky Slots!

CeCe’s makes its gamers feel lucky, no matter what. The gaming cafe provides complimentary coffee, tea and snacks to their gamers in addition to selling beer, wine and mixed drinks. It sounds like a pretty perfect way to start the morning or a great way to wind down from your day, if you ask us.
